Here you can see a collection of work from students in Benga, Malawi. I travelled to Benga to deliver creative engagement projects designed to support and enhance the students’ overall academic progression.

 

Through these workshops, the children developed important skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving, while also learning simple animation techniques.

I also spent time working with the teachers to ensure they could continue the creative work after I had left. Two months later, I was delighted to receive new videos from the students, sharing their own depiction of the Christmas story using the animation skills they had learned.

It was incredibly fulfilling to work in a community like this and to see the creativity and enthusiasm of the students continue beyond the workshops.
